Looking for interior - 350sl

Hi all:

I am new to the forum and do not know if this is where I should post this. Sorry if it is not in the right place.

I recently purchased a 72 350sl which has a horrible interior. As I have already invested a ton of dough into the car, I am looking for used parts for the interior. What is good in the interiror are the seats and door panels. Everything else is shot. Does anyone have leads to a blue interior? I am in Westchester county NY.

I just replaced the carpeting in my SL. I bought "commercial" carpeting in the appropriate colour, used the old ones as templates and had a professional bind the edges as needed. Total cost for cabin and trunk....$480.00 CAD.

Trying to find good used interior that is at least 18 years old is nearly impossible. Like all of us, that pesky interior seems to just put the cost over the top.

Here is a website that will have everything you need to do the interior. No matter how you look at, ain't gonna be cheap

Check them out at least it will give you an idea of what your are going to need. I did our seats from them, but since my carpeting was in good condition, just faded and dirty, I was succesful in re-dying it at a huge savings, $50.00 for the dye. Just really clean the carpeting before applying.
