I believe the ponton 190SLs of the 1950s and early 1960 had chrome frames/pieces surrounding the door windows of the convertibles. If this is true, what was used originally to keep the frame fixed to the glass? What do owners use today when the window glass is replaced to fix the chrome to the window? The vent window also has a chrome surround piece. Thanks.
