Side Moulding Removal

I did a search and didn't find much. Anyway, WIFEY has DECIDED that the, excuse me, HER Benz needs to be repainted. I noticed a couple of small bubble starting near the side moulding and decided the best thing to do is to remove it before painting. Can anyone give me a little help on how it comes off before I destroy it. I am talking about the three pieces running down the middle on each side. 1984 500SL.

The ones on the door are bolted on at the back of the door. The others are bolted on in the wheel well.
