Forgive my ignorance

Where the heck do the terms --107 ---126 and what ever else i see on the forums come from? Louis

Those are the basic chassis numbers of various models. The 107 chassis, for instance would be the SL roadsters that are similar. 450SL, 380SL, 560SL, etc, all sharing the same chassis platform, but changing in "models" over the years.
