350sl with 4.5l - bad engine
The engine of my 1972 350sl (4.5l) run without oil pressure now is history. I have a 1978 euro 350slc and think of swapping entire drive train including rear end. Is there an easy way? Like dropping the subframe including eng/tran? Will the 3.5l fit the wiring? Does anyone know?
tks, Karl |

Engine swop
Hi
As far as I'm aware should slot in no probs. However it's a different fuel injection system (mechanical as opposed to electrical, also I suspect electronic ignition). Gerry Wexford |
