You might find an old paper one on e-bay, but they are quite expensive. There are quite a few versions of manuals on CDrom going around too. The CD's vary from fairly complete to nearly useless and you get what you pay for. The CD's show how to do things like take apart the dash, or identify components, but lack technical info like electrical wiring. I have a 91 SL and I've gotten by without a shop manual by using this forum, the cheap generic SL CDrom, and a good local MB mechanic. Consider a subscription to alldata if you plan to do serious work on the the vehicle yourself.

You can order an R129 Technical DVD with schematics, diagnostic manuals, repair procedures, and owners manuals directly from Mercedes-Benz of North America (1-800-FOR-MERC) it's only $74.50.
