Metal square Spring device glowing red HOTT

Next to the blower motor is getting red hot and burned the inside of the cover .

Now the Blower motor does not work...

The spring device only gets red hot when I turn on the AC...NOT THE HEAT..

When I listen through the vents when I try the blower motor I hear a very faint fan noise but nothing like b-4 when it blew strong

The blower motor was working about a week ago and is not locked up or anything...

ANY CLUES... FUSE IN PASS KICK PANEL IS GOOD....

It is the resistor for the speeds on your blower. Either your blower is messed up drawing too much juice or the resistor is shot. Try replacing the resistor, it will most likely fix your problem

Do you have full climate control, or the two temp wheels and the blower switch?

Is it factory AC or aftermarket?

Is it still doing it only on AC?
