Warm Start Problem
Friend with new to him '78 450SL. Car starts normally when cold. When up to operating temperature car will restart immediately, but if allowed to cool for 20-30 minutes enging will only crank and will not start until fully cool. Ignition system appear fully functional. We are looking toward a fuel delivery problem. Which sensor/valve is the most likely culprit? Thanks.

not sure on your model but on my 380SE I had to change the fuel accumulator located by the fuel filter.
