Soft top installation ----- again

Tired of my boring life I finally decided that to add some spice and excitement to it I need to replace the soft top on the 560SL. Read the instructions and many posts, but I cannot resolve the question of what adhesive(s) to use. The instructions mention #9410, 11, 12, 13 adhesives but I cannot find a reference to them anywhere. I do not want to use a spray, can I use a contact cement like Welwood or do I need something more specialized?

If no luck, I would recommend Pliobond #20, Available at Aircraft Spruce and Specialty.

Will call him. Got no info from the website (that is where I got the #s). Will let you know how it goes, but I am not the rushing type, so it is going to take me a while ...

They said any contact adhesive (like Weldwood, 3M etc.) would work. Use silicone adhesive for the rubber seals.

Contact KHM in Germany for advice, I'm sure they will assist. BTW - they manufacture original tops for Benz ;-)

Please do post some pics once you've compete the replacement.
