Anyone using 225/60/15 tires on 560SL?
 

Probably should place on tire/wheel forum, but wondered if anyone has used this slightly wider tire specifically on a 560SL and what results were? I've had this tire size on a BMW 535i and it was great! Seems like a close diameter (almost undistinguishable) to stock 205/65/15s. Just wondering about any fit (rubbing?) issues. Any feedback appreciated!

These were originally on my 560SL when I bought the car (Generals?). The car seemed a little lighter and more nimble with the recommended size of Kumho KH11's. This comparison was made after I had replaced the subframe mounts (front only at that time) and shocks. But the Generals were pretty junky tires, so maybe this is not a fair comparison.
