Still having a problem with the ignition. THe key turns all my lights work but will not engage the starter had to ring a wire to the starter directly and install an starter switch. I also found laying under the dash this little unit, It does not look factory installed. I am not sure what it is or if it has anything to do with the problems i am having with the ignition not starting ? ALso any links for instructions on how to remove the ignition it self to check it ?>? thanks so frustrated also my Reverse lights do not work at all ???? not juice going to it and i did install a new nuetral switch.

Looks like a Mickey Mouse setup of a engine kill switch for an alarm system. Can you trace the wires coming from the ignition key cylinder assembly and splice them back together?
