I think a more accurate term would be Yamacedes. The SHO motor was made by Yamaha. And I, for one, think it's pretty cool.
The only thing that would concern me about the SHO engine is lack of low-end torque -- it's got lots of high-end power, to be sure, but that car won't be winning many stoplight drag races...

This really is a very good engine, but may not really be matched to a heavy car - wonder how the tranny gearing will work for or against it.

question: how do most failed swaps begin?
answer: someone has a car with a bad motor and good body and another car with a good motor and bad body. and decides to combine them! they would be better off and spend less money putting in a benz motor. and this thinggie will be saleproof! tom w

I've got a friend with a yahasho- it's a gutless wonder that take four hours to change the oil. There's only a million 280's in the yards...uh ... so lets stick heavier fordaha into a german car that'll never equal the original engine on nearly all terms. Can you say "I smoked to much weed and I have great idea?"
