Loss of Power Brake Assist and ABS question

I noticed my brake assist was gradually declining until there was none at all. The economy gauge at idle shows a little off as to indicate a vacuum leak. I looked around the engine and cannot find something broken. The check valve running on the vacuum line between the engine and brake booster looks suspect, but I wanted to find out what some of you others have experienced with the same symptoms?

Also would ABS faulty mode (light on dash) be triggered if two different wheel diameters were mounted on the front thereby tricking the ABS into this mode? I'm running a spare tire until I get new tires this week.

Two different size wheels/ tires will indeed trip the ABS system, but I don't believe it would reduce power assist. Anyone else?
