92 500sl tranny into 95 sl320

Is it possible to install a 4 speed from the 92 sl V8 into the 95 320 6cyl.
I have a totalled 92 500sl and a 95 320 that has a bad tranny as possible purchase. Also is the 95 320 sl OBDII capable.
