help me 500sl

i turned my car off perfect no noises didnt overheat, the next time i started it would only tik. engine seized.
how can it be:rolleyes:

You probably have a dead battery.

I'm glad to see there are other neurotics on this forum besides me. Who else tends to think the worst possible thing has happened right off the bat?

AA guy come out and checked the battery, cant turn the engine with a bolt on the pully

Someone else on this forum just had the same thing happen a few weeks ago. Didn't it turn out to be plastic timing chain guide rails broke and fell into oil pump gear? follow link
