Question Broken clip on Sun Visor...

Just broke a clip on the Sun Visor, 89 560 SL. Does anyone know the part number?? Is this hard to replace?? Is there a DIY article on this somewhere??

Thanks.

There's a link here in the DIY section on removing the sun visors. Once you've got the visor off, loosen the adjustment screw (the one on the visor itself) and pull the rod far enough out of the visor to get the clip off. It has to be turned to a specific direction before the visor will come off, so just keep turning it until you can get the rod pulled out.

As far as getting a new clip, they sell them all over. E-bay always has some, Performance Products sells them, most of the upholstery places sell them.

I think you can replace the clip without removing the visor from the car.
Do what Scott says about partially extracting the rod, with the visor in place.
