1991 500 sl Remote Key Battery number??
Anyone know the number for the replacement batteries? My batteries have no # on them??

If your Remote Key looks like mine (see attached) then...
the MB part number for the Key Remote is 140.760.14.06 and the battery is #2025 - available at virtually any store.

The 1991 are different they use 4 batteries and they are quite smaller.

Are you sure YOU have the stock key and not an aftermarket replacement? '92 looks and is identical to the one above.

I think my key is the original?
I have two the same from the previous owner. Key looks the same but the batteries are different. The correct battery is the V675 that would be the euro number but they are available from: http://www.microbattery.com/
$6.00 delivered 6 pack as opposed to Radio shack $35!!
