benz 500sl performance help

any one know how i could get some performance parts
for my 90 500sl.. what could i do to make it run faster
details please and where to get what ever i need

I don't mean to sound like a smart a.., but my 500 SL is plenty fast for anyplace except a race track!

Maybe some performance driving lessons before any upgrades!

1990 performance mods

I had the same question when I bought my 1991 500SL last year. Not a lot can be done on these. There is not chip available until the later years due to the setup of the engine control module.
Exhaust may be an option, I put K and N filters on mine, which seemed to give it a little more power, and sounds great at WOT...
