Where I live we pay more for regular than you are paying for premium. For 2008 the EPA has much more realistic MPG estimates. Saw a 2008 SL550 on the MB lot with 13 city, 19 hwy and a $1300 gas guzzler tax. If it actually does that well, it's still better than my Jeep CG 4.7 liter.

If you want gas mileage, buy a Toyota.

If you want your drive to be a gas, get in your SL, put the petal to the metal and hang on!
