560 SL Seat trim
Are OEM leather drivers seat back covers still available in blue? I have found a yummy low milage 560SL with a worn drivers seat, otherwise it's mint. I'm very tempted, but wouldn't be able to live with a dried out seat bolster.

A really good upholstery shop could fix it.
Maybe take a day or so, just ask first if they could get the original leather or have to replicate some. Maybe more if the insides of them need to be replaced They are sure to become classics if they are not, already. No way a Panzerwagen 197 will ever be mistaken for anything the Mercedes that it is. I love them

Have you checked the various on-line vendors referenced elsewhere in this forum?

Lots of places sell upholstery kits, and they're fairly easy to install. Labor intensive, but straight-forward. Or you can pay to have someone install it if you don't want to do it yourself. |
