Flat batterie SL500 (1995)

Hi can anyone help

My car batterie is flat and the key will not open the boot!

I have located two large wires one Red and the other Black under the fuses, if can i put a charge into the car at this point without doing any damage or is there another way ?

Insert the key into the trunk lock and push. This should open the trunk.

Richard,

I can't tell from your profile whether you're in the US or not, but if so, MB offers a 'free' road service option that may work for you. The 'catch' is that you will buy a new battery from the supporting dealer, but the rest of the service call is free. The tech will also reset your radio, and probably re-synch your windows and top while there. For specifics, call 1-800-FOR-MERC; follow the prompts for Roadside Assistance. Alternatively you can read up on this service at www.mbusa.com

Good Luck-

Bob
