Does anyone know this place? They are in Birmingham Alabama -- they are listing a gorgeous 560SL -- so I want to know if they are an honest seller.

I don't know the dealership, but the 560SL looks good. The Carfax report doesn't highlight any issues. If you look at the close-up of the data plate photo it looks like the car has been painted, but it maybe the quality of the photo.
Good luck, if the car is a clean when you see it with your own eyes, you have found a nice one.

I live in Birmingham and also bought my 450SL from them about a month ago. They are currently restoring it for me. If you are talking about the red 89 560SL, I have driven it. Seriously don't mind giving my opinion or even driving by the dealer and looking it over again (they are about 10 min away from my house).
