1) There is a For Sale section - you should use it.
2) You didn't mention year. 3) You didn't mention price. 4) You have included no photos. Without three of the above, you don't have a chance to sell it.

When you said classic 300SL, I thought you meant an r107. Now I understand.

I don't think the 300SL was ever based on a R107, rather the W198. That's what I thought was for sale. Good luck.

I own essentially the same car and unfortunately it's worth much more parted out than as a whole. Example: Cost to replace a grill is $700. I surely wouldn't want to part my car out, but the used SL market is upside down right now. They cost a small fortune to own and maintain, but have little resale value. I hope you find someone who really wants your nice SL.

Thanks. I just looked at NADA today & it`s $10.3k to $13.3k. That`s something for a $100K auto when it was new !

nada means nada. If you want to know what the actual market thinks of the car, consider the the slmarketletter run by John Olson. He's been tracking SL prices for ages based on actual sales. -CTH

And very desireable - that's why I was asking what year it was. Go to www.oursl.com and see what prices Ron Spencer is analyzing.
