You will need a set of torques drivers, I'm not sure if it is a 27 or a 30 to remove the airbag. Make sure you disconnect the battery first, you do not want to have an airbag go off in your face. You will need an allen wrench socket to remove the steering wheel and 2 hooks to go into the sides of the instument panel, it is only held in by friction. Check performance products they have pictures of them, I mad my own from wire hangers. Do you have a service manual cd, if not get one. It will give you some idea of what you are doing. And good luck!

To add to what DOCJBK said, if you remove the passenger side floor mat you will see a large plastic guard against the firewall. There is a label there that tells you the proper procedure for deactivating the air bag. If you remove the four plastic nuts and remove the cover, there is a red connector that you pull off after disconnecting the battery.

After loosening the two Torx headed bolts, the air bag is removed by pulling straight up and pulling out the yellow connector in the back.

After removing the flathead screw holding the steering wheel, and before removing the wheel, make a mark on the steering wheel hub adjacent to the alignment mark on the steering shaft. This allows you to get the steering wheel in the proper position during assembly.

Also, you only need to remove the instrument cluster if you are doing work in that area. Once the steering wheel is removed, there is a plastic cover held by three small screws that will need to be removed to get the cluster out.
