Idler Bushing Replacement

Hi All,

Searching the posts I've seen that a number of you have replaced these bushes. According to the workshop manual the drag link and track rod must be seperated from the arm and special tools are required to pull the bushes and perform measurements afterwards.
My question is, after removing the bolt can the idler arm just be swung out of the way while the bushes are replaced and are special puller tools really required.

Thanks for any responses,
Gary
