How much oil does your 560 use between 3000 mile oil changes?

I checked my oil today, I have completed about 2000 miles since my last oil change and about 1/3 of the dipstick is dry from the MAX mark. Is this normal? My car has low milage and doesn't show signs of oil an leak or blue smoke when starting from cold or under load.

I change my oil twice a year which is about about every 7000 miles these days. Generally the oil level low light comes on just about that time. I belive that is about 2 qt in 7000 miles.

So I guess Im 3/3 of the dipstick in 7000 miles verses your 3/3 in 6000 miles. Sound fine. And if you change it every 3000 miles who cares.
