Bixenons in a 107 - anyone done it before?

I'm posting this all over to see if anyone has information for me.

I have the standard US style headlights (and I like them very much, thank you) but I've upgraded the outer low/hi beam combination light to the Hella H4 housings. They look like standard sealed beam headlights, but they produce more light because of the H4 bulb - and the fact that they draw 55 watts each.

I'd like to upgrade to the H1 Hella kits and get brighter hi beams, but that would draw more power than the circuit allows and I don't want to get into running relays to accommodate the extra power draw. Instead I just purchased an H4-to-bixenon upgrade kit.

My Acura has xenon headlights and I really like them. Lots of light. The upgrade kit also only draws 35 watts per side. It's supposed to offer the nice, crisp cutoff line, like the H4 bulbs do, but with 3 times the light output.

Has anyone else done this, or am I breaking a new trail? The xenons are supposed to produce less heat than the halogen H4 bulbs, so I'm not worried about heat buildup causing a failure in the housing. I am worried about glare and proper focus without a reflector specifically designed for the xenon bulb. If you've done this, I'd like to hear about your experience with it.
