AMG Penta Wheels

Does anyone know if there's a german used wheel specialist in the USA? I fancy a set of AMG Penta wheels for my '88 SL. Alternatively, if anyone has a set for sale, let me know

The AMG pentas are nice, and look very good, but are actually found more often on the first generation (to 1985) SLs.

They are not usually cheap, but bargains do exist, and pop up now and again.
Check your wheel size and what you will want on your car, and determine the offset is correct.

I would prefer a genuine set, even if they needed refurbishing, rather than some copies or knockoffs. I wouldn't want any that were cracked, severely pitted or curbed though.

The words "AMG" are wildly, freely and often fraudulently used to boost the price of items for cars of this era, so proceed with skepticism and caution

The only way you'll find them is to watch ebay (including ebay.uk and ebay.de), and watch the For Sale sections of this site and Benzworld.com. Keep caution, everyone calls them AMG wheels, but the actual AMG wheels are stamped "AMG" near the center.
