Transmission Help 560SL

Mi wife's 88 560SL is a daily driver, she has driven it to work for the last five years without any significant problem. Last week she told that sometimes, whith the transmission in "park" the car would roll back. I drove the car a couple of times and, sure enough, it rolled back in park with the engine shut off, moving the lever through the gears would fix it. Today I took it out for a drive and I was kind of shocked. When moving the shift lever through the gears it makes a metallic noise and it feels like something is loose in there. I would like to fix this before something major happens, any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Is the procedure in the CD?
If not, can you tell me where I could find it?
Thanks again.
