Fuse List for 88 560 SL

It appears I have to pull the radio fuse on my 88 560 SL, opened the panel where the label is supposed to be and guess what, no label!

Does anyone have the number designations for the fuses? The radio has "locked up" so I figured I would try pulling the fuse first.

Try fuse 12. My CD fuse box list for the 560SL (1986-1989 chassis 107.048 engine 117.967) says it controls "Exit lights, clock, warning flasher, dome lamp front, trunk lamp, fasten seat belt control unit, automatic antenna, warning buzzer, radio"

I could not find the fuse diagram, and my car is not readily accessible, but I found this in the Service Manual. If the numbers are above/below fuses, this should be accurate foe the fuse numbers.

I was referencing this page too, from the CD. I tried for an hour to find a way to upload the pdf file/page, but kept running into the file size barrier. How did you post this?

By the way which manual did this come out of, I had a pdf based disc for my 400E and then bought WIS for the M class, it does squat for the 560.

The page that I posted was found in Vol. 2 of the "Service Manual Chassis and Body Model 107". 1989.It was in the 560SL supplement. I scanned in on my flatbed and saved it as a jpeg. I guess that I was lucky that it was saved around 47KB. I used the "manage attachments" to upload it to the post.

It looks like you found your fuse. But you might also be interested to know that the fuse digram for the cover is still available from MB. And I belive it's under $5.00.

Appreceiate all the responses, I am going to try the MB route, for now I just printed off the scan. I am sure I'll need the info again, hopefully not any time toooo soon!
