Rotors and Pads on '85 380 SL

Need to replace rotors and pads on my 380sl. Have lots of experience with
Audi, Volvo and VW brake service. Should I expect anything significantly different with this model car?. Anything in particular to look out for ?

if you have that experience, you will not have issues or "gothcas"
Basic brake job. Biggest decision is pad type, SL's are notorious for black brake dust ruining the look of the wheels ( you can use shields ) .
I used ceramic (Akebono) and Z coated rotors, been great

380 sl brake job

Thanks. Appreciate the input. Waiting for warmer weather before I take the car out of winter storage and tackle the task.

Rotors need to be separated from the hubs........bearings will need to be re-packed.
