Where could I find 450SL (R107) Bumpers?

Hi,

topic. I'm in need of a front bumper for my 450 SL, ahhh. Any help would be appreciated, thanks,

You could try the parts section on this forum. You can also try Ebay. (just be carefull of shipping costs and quality)! People seem to like to change to "Euro" bumpers and you should be able to find some nice used take offs. Good luck!

eBay is good, but check that the bumper is straight, the bumper shocks are good (if needed) and the right type (85/86 shocks are shorter) and the stainless top and rubber sides/fronts are in good shape. If not, these parts can run easily into several hundred dollars past the aluminum core of the bumper.

Front USA bumper 450SL

I've been saving one for over ten years,
1972 450SL decent condition
(if I can find it)
It's yours cheap + shipping.

car-part sounds good .

Thinking my bumper was still ok, I got the front horns, and chrome cover. So i need shocks and main bar, and the side things.

Thx bwostosh, but the '72 bumper is way small, oldest fitting one would be '74, I think .
