sl 600 asr problems after harness change
 

First of all thanks for all who have helped on this project. There is no way i could have done it without all your help. I just finished installing the complete engine wiring harness and started the car up. It runs rough at idle and when driven still acts like the ASR mode is activated.(runs on only partial power).My question is do I need to take it to the mercedes shop and have them reset the asr? Will this fix the problem? A little history... Before I installed the wiring harness I replaced the throttle bodies and the computer and tried to run the car. it ran rough so i investigated further and found the bad wiring harness. Do you think I messed up the computer or the throttle bodies when I tried to start the car with the old, bad wiring harness still on it? Thanks, Todd
