Climate Control Interchange

If you mean a servo from a 116 chassis 450SE/SEL then the answer is yes. The 126 chassis 450SE/SEL uses an entirely different system. If you replace the servo then chances are you're going to need the amplifier as well. What is the year of the donor car?

The 116 chassis servo is actually a different part number than the 107 chassis version (450SL) but the difference won't affect the performance of the system. Worst case the temperature set on your thumbwheel would shift by a few degrees.

the doner is a 1979 450 sel---the part i am refuring to is the climate control the wheel in the car,i have a new servo out on the right side of the eng. bay--has a silver bottom. Thanks, Dennis

If you're referring to the thumbwheel, yes that will fit your car. You'll still need a meter to test it.

Good Find

Don't forget to check it with an ohm-meter before you install it. You should get about 300 ohms or less at 65F setting, 1600 ohms or higher @ 85F.

i will be sure to do that ,Thank you for the information, Dennis
