What is it? P/N 1041590746

Hi All,
I was changing the cabin air filter and found a loose plastic strip below the windshield wiper arm. The number on the part is PA6 6 GF15 104 15 90746. I didn't see anyplace to attach it or that was missing a cover. Does anyone know where it goes?
Thanks,
Bob

I hope this picture helps. It is from the Mercedes-Benz Electronic Parts catalogue. The part is number 60 on the diagram. You see it seems to belong along the side of the engine. I can't imagine how it got by the wiper arm.

Ah, it is in the form of a link from another site, some browsers will not show them. Hopefully it is attached at the bottom of this reply.

JJ Rodger,
Thanks, I can see what you mean now. The previous owner had a tuneup performed last Fall so my guess is that it's been there since then. Again thanks for your help.
Regards,
Bob
