New member, hi !

Hello folks...I've been lurking here for awhile but never posted. Really dig stuff like SL600, CLK55, anything high powered. A couple of years ago I decided to get another car. It was either an SL600 (used) or a new GTO. I went with the GTO mostly for the warranty. The thrust was pretty important also ! A few months ago on ebay there was an SL74 , triple black that wound up selling for a hair over 40K- did anyone here buy it ?

How do you like the GTO?

I looked at them when they first came out, but did not bite on one. I had a 1967 convertible that I loved. What year is yours and does it have the hood scoops or not...

Hey ! GTO is 2005, midnight blue with the scoops. It's so awesome; amazing build quality and totally worthy of the name. The only complaint is that the independent rear doesn't like the drag strip, but there are mods to fix it.
