1997 Sl320 Right Rear Tire

My right rear tire is wearing quickly, more toward the middle of the tire. Had new tires for about 4000 miles. Have always had a slight vibration under seat, since I bought it used. Rear shocks seemed to be ok. Does anyone think its time to change the rear shocks?

A tire which wears evenly down the middle is usually an indication that it's over inflated. I doubt that the unusuall wear has anything to do with the shock, but I'm always learning new things.
