560 cold start injector testing
'88 560 SL. Rough starting. Checked cold start injector. No fuel comes out with injector out of the maifold and grounded.
Is there a test to see if the injector is receiving voltage? |

First, I don't think you get power to the valve unless the starter is cranking.
Second, it has to be 50 degrees F or lower to get a puff. Suggest you check the coolant temp sensor at the front of the intake manifold.

hard Start
By 88' the 560's didn't have a cold start inj. it was all done at the EHA

I have an 89 560sl and it has a cold start injector.
