560 cold start injector testing

'88 560 SL. Rough starting. Checked cold start injector. No fuel comes out with injector out of the maifold and grounded.

Is there a test to see if the injector is receiving voltage?

First, I don't think you get power to the valve unless the starter is cranking.

Second, it has to be 50 degrees F or lower to get a puff.

Suggest you check the coolant temp sensor at the front of the intake manifold.

Rally Nerd -

You may be thinking of the warm-up regulator.
