Hot air blowing.

I am experiencing a very uncomfortable problem with my 89 560 SL dash vents...they blow hot air all the time when on the move ( non fan assisted) and I haven't yet found a way to stop them.
Gentlemen, your assistance please and thank you.

It sounds to me like your mono valve is stuck open. That is the valve that shuts hot water off to the heater core when not required. It is located in the engine compartment in on the right side firewall. It can be replaced as a unit or the diaphragm can be replaced separately.
