SOS... Water in fuel!!
Ok here's one bit of learned advice... NEVER put a garden hose in your fuel tank!!!!!! Long story. Without embarassing myself at my own stupidity, I'll get to my question...
My car ran fine for about 11 miles after this "incident" then barely would idle. It seems like I have too much fuel pressure against the baffle plate. When I press the throttle, it dies, but if I push the baffle, it revs up... for a little while anyway. Could the water have messed-up something in the pressure control system? Can I just "flush" out the water and "magically" fix it? HELP!!!!

Be careful of some gas treatments that remove water in fuel. They can attack the rubber seals of injection system.
