'Scraping' sound during right turn
When I turn right in my 1980 450sl (right only-not left) I hear a 'scraping' sound from the rear. Sounds like something scraping on the brake rotor. But I took it to a very good shop and they couldn't find anything wrong. Would bad subframe mounts cause this, or a cracked brake pad, or a defective axle? I'm stumped and so is my mechanic.

likely the arm that attaches the sway bar from the body to the axle hub, that either break or the joint pops loose, usually they will rub on the wheel when turning
