Trust some forum members watching last nights game
saw "Brooklyn born" Joe Torre standing next to a dark blue 107 convertible. Nice sight to see a 20 year old sl 107. Sturg. '84 280sl 5 speed stick 191k on the clock. |

I love that commercial and being a Joe Torre fan as well put it in a nice perspective. I hope the Dodgers get it next year. Today I am sitting Shiva for the Rays...

When I first saw the commercial I recognized the car right away but also I noticed the big round Mercedes symbol is missing from the front grill. Do you think they removed it digitally so as not to provide advertising for Mercedes or is it just not there on this model???
