SLC SL part question
Does anybody know if the gas tank door (not the cap but the door that flips open) is the same on an SL and a SLC? I need one for my 76 450SL and have found one off an SLC at a good price but would like to know if it will work before I buy it. TIA...

Looking at the Russian website it appears to be the same for SL & SLC.

I believe they are not. The SL hinges on the side and the SLC hinges on the bottom. There may be variations by years I have not explored.
