Warm-Up-Regulator on 1980 450SL
Can anybody tell me where the vacuum line from the Warm-up-regulator connects to?
On my car I have only the black L-shaped rubber hose, but no vacuum line connected to. I'm talking about the vacuum line on top. Thanks Gunter |

Mr.scuba.nothing hooks to it.I suppose it is a sort of vent.

It makes the warm-up regulator to activate via the suction on cold start and under load. The rubber hose is located to the right about 20cm from the regulator. It is black and has an "S" shape. This car is getting to be a nightmare for me. It is sitting in my basement ready to be painted and every time I try to start the engine its flooding my cylinders and I replaced about everything there is to replace. I'm waiting for a rebuild fuel distributor and hopefully I'm being able to get it started after installing the new one. Gunter |

Hello Anthony,
I also replaced the thermoswitch and you are right, I learn a lot in this process, it is just so frustrating since my painter is waiting and I have to tell him all the time............well next week its ready to go. But I hope I have that problem solved real soon. Gunter |
