No Heat
I have a 1980 450sl german spec car that is not pushing any heat (cold air only). All of the setting/buttons are working but no heat. I have read threads and tried several things like disconnectinting the monovalve connection (didnt work) Cold air only. I have disconnected the heater hoses, hot both sides and good circulation, fuses look good ,
Any other ideas? I have searched the threads but not finding a fix. Any help in pointing me to the right thread would be appreciated. Thanks Richard |

failed monovavle is all cold or all heat, disconnecting does not usually make a change. Needs r/r.

If your pushbuttons are oriented in a vertical lineup you have the infamous "Climate control II" system, with the black servo unit under the passsenger side of the hood next to the firewall. Those servo units rust up internally and fail. If you do have that setup, replace it with one of the digital servo units, and you'll never have any more problems with it. They are a little spendy, but well worth it.
