I saw the R230 SL

For those of you who don't visit benzsport.com and haven't read this thread before...

17 September: I have seen two R230 500SL's and one R230 SL55 AMG and all I can say is: WOW, what a car!!! The car looks better in real life as on photo's, the seats are great and the dash is just terrific!
I had to strugle to be able to sit behind the steering wheel of the SL55 AMG, but it was worth the time waiting and the efforts needed...people almost had to tear me out of the car again because I had a hard time parting with the view I had in front of me.

Most of the electric features were functioning properly (not disabled) and mercedes let everyone practically just walk over the SL's without warning anyone (if I had to guard one of these cars, I would have kicked out A LOT of people; that is for sure).
The dash controls flashes up in different colors on the gauge cluster, the part on top of the AMG cluster is alcantara, the SL has a very ugly badge on the front fenders, the AMG has 4 endpipes, the childseat in the back is even smaller as before, the legroom in front is a lot better now, I realy want one!!!.

JCO, you made a very good choice; I am sure that you will enjoy the SL55 AMG you ordered!
