another modified R129

Most of you will remember the pictures I posted a couple of months ago from my modified 1990 300SL with model 95 bumper package and Xenon headlights...

...just to refresh your mind...

Here are some pics of a 1994 320SL that is owned by a German guy named Thomas. He already had the joy to drive around with a R230SL and he has modified his 94SL a lot better as I already have!



Here is a pic of the front of his SL; it has the grill of the Final Edition R129SL (silver arrow) and has retrofitted side mirrors from the latest (99 and newer) R129SL and W208CLK...very cool!
He also got the OEM Xenon headlights as you can see.
Note the silver W210 in the background...

Front/side view with the newer lower body parts/panels. I brought my 95 door and rear fender panel to the repainter last Saturday (I still have the older door and rear fender panel in combination with the newer front fender panel).

This is another side view, but with the older grill and side mirrors.



A picture of the rear of his SL (with old mirrors)...it has the newer (99) taillights that I already have as well (but still need to install).
His bumper has got a larger pre-cut for the muffler as my rear bumper.
He is still looking for a trunk lid with additional brake light (not standard on the older euro models).

Here is a pic of his interior...he has changed the steering wheel, shifter gate, shifter knob and speed gauge...his current speed gauge goes up to 320km/h instead of 260km/h.

This is just to proove that I am not the only Benz-moddifying idiot around and that there are more raped silver R129s on this side of the pont.
