Torque Requirements for suspension Hydraulic fittings

Hi,
I'm new to the forum. I just bought an 1991 SL500 with ADS suspension. I replaced the rear suspension air accumulators and I'm getting a leak from one of the tubes connecting to the dampening valve. The fitting has a 16mm banjo bolt with two copper washers. I've replaced the bolt, fittings and washers and I can't stop it from leaking around the washers. I've tightened the fitting but I'm not sure how tight it should be and I don't want to strip the threads on the valve. I've searched and can't find the tightening torque values anywhere. Does anyone know what they should be?
Thanks,
Dan
