Is SLC and SL Glass the same?

I have a massive leak from the windshield of my 450SLC. I can't seem to find a windshield for this car aftermarket and no installer would touch the car with a 50 foot barge pole unless they have another glass to hand.

Does anyone know if the glass is the same as a 450SL, or has had success finding a replacement?

Just checked the EPC, looks like SL and SLC glass is non-interchangeable.

Yep, they do show as different part numbers but when eye balling them, they look very close. Given that the SLC windshields are not being sold anymore. I'm wondering if anyone has made it work.

These are glued on as opposed to using a gasket so they may not need to be exact.

The door window for the SLC is taller at the rear and is definitly not the same as the SL. Very close though. I know, I tried.
