New to site but not new...

Hello all, I am returning to this website after being gone for a few years. Took a while to realize that the name had changed! I once logged on as elMiguel when I owned a 380SE. I sold it a couple of years ago and bought a 1984 500SL euro model. I have a question... how do you remove the turn signal lens? I have a burned out bulb and must get the car inspected this month. I have checked the owner's manual but no luck. Can anyone advise??
Thanks,
Mike

Welcome back!

I guess you are referring to the front turn signal lense.
1. Remove lower metal trim under the headlight glass (2 screws) One in the front and one on the side of fender.
2. Remove 4 screws holding the headlight unit and pull forward the entire unit.(you might need to remove wiper if you have them)
3. remove 2 nuts (10mm) holding the lense, slide forward and remove.
4. Replace bulb and reinstal in reverse.
